About
She is a full professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and author of the book “The Belonging Paradox”.
Originally from Imo State, Nigeria, she began her academic journey at Temple University in the United States, earning a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Migration, for her, was both an adventure and an awakening. The experience of excelling academically while silently wrestling with cultural dislocation and unspoken expectations taught her that belonging isn’t automatic, it’s something we learn to build.
Driven by that conviction, she co-founded ORAR to build a space where Black diasporans can find both joy and support, where belonging is nurtured, stories are shared, and every journey feels seen and understood.
She hopes to remind every diasporan that belonging is not a destination but a shared journey, one built through connection, courage, and care.
